Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee to Host 3rd Annual Skeleton Gala

Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee will host the third annual Skeleton Gala on Oct. 26, in Liberty Hall at The Factory at Franklin.
The masquerade event is Bone and Joint Institute’s primary fundraiser and benefits the Williamson Health athletic training program and scholarships for students who will be pursuing health science degrees in college. Attendees can enjoy a black-tie experience complete with dinner, drinks, a silent auction and dancing, featuring the dynamic band Burning Las Vegas.
Bone and Joint Institute and Williamson Health are proud partners that bring impact to the community by providing sports medicine care to Williamson County student-athletes and their families. In addition, the Bone and Joint Institute physicians also serve as team physicians for several area private schools.
The group provides sports medicine services to Brentwood High School, Centennial High School, Fairview High School, Franklin High School, Independence High School, Nolensville High School, Page High School, Ravenwood High School, Summit High School, Battle Ground Academy, Brentwood Academy, Christ Presbyterian Academy, Grace Christian Academy, and Lipscomb Academy.
Throughout the year, Williamson Health athletic trainers work in tandem with dedicated Bone and Joint Institute physicians to care for the WCS student-athletes. In addition to the Williamson Health athletic trainers and Bone and Joint Institute team physicians, crews from Williamson Health Emergency Medical Services (EMS) are on the sidelines during football games and other events, ready to provide immediate care in case of injury.
“Giving back is at the core of the Bone and Joint Institute, and we are so honored to be able to care for student-athletes in our community,” said Scott Arthur, M.D. “Through this event, and your generous support, we are able to further our commitment to the athletes of today while investing in the next generation of healthcare professionals.”
One of the primary beneficiaries of the Skeleton Gala is the Craig Ferrell Memorial Scholarship Fund. Named in honor of the late Dr. Ferrell, these scholarships are given to Williamson County high school students who are pursuing a college degree in health sciences. Other organizations who have benefited from the Bone and Joint Fund include Friends of Franklin Parks, BrightStone, Forrest Spence Fund, Deer Run Camps & Retreats, and A Vintage Affair.
This year’s cobalt-chrome sponsors are Ignite Medical/SI-Bone and Regent Surgical Health. The Titanium sponsor is NEXXT Spine. Exactech, Results Physiotherapy, Surgicor, Radiology Partners, Arthrex, The Drury Group, Specialty Anesthesia of Tennessee and Medsurant Health are stainless steel sponsors. The 2024 gift bag sponsors are Middle Tennessee Vascular, Emergi-Trust, US Anesthesia Partners and the Red River Spartans.
