Bio

Karl Kuhn, M.D., M.S.C.I. is a board-certified pulmonologist and sleep medicine physician with Williamson Health’s Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine office located at Williamson Medical Center at 4323 Carothers Parkway, Suite 605.

Board certified in pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, sleep medicine and internal medicine, Dr. Kuhn is a graduate of University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine in Little Rock, Ark., and he completed his residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore before finishing his fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

Away from the clinic, Dr. Kuhn and his wife, Sally, are the proud parents of three children – Sara, Alexander and Noah. Together, they love to travel and have a goal of seeing each of the national parks across the United States. Additionally, Dr. Kuhn and Sally are very active and train for triathlons together.

While a doctor in real life, Dr. Kuhn also played a doctor on television in the show “Nashville.” The show, which aired on ABC and CMT, starred Connie Britton, Hayden Panettiere and Charles Esten and ran for six seasons from 2012 to 2018.

Prior to his career in medicine, Dr. Kuhn played football in college at Arkansas Tech University from 1988-91. As a tight end, he was named an NAIA All-American and was inducted into the school’s Athletics Hall of Fame in 2023. Off the field, Dr. Kuhn was a three-time Academic All-American, which still stands today as the most by any student-athlete in Arkansas Tech history. He also finished off his career with one of the highest academic honors possible for a student-athlete in earning the College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-American of the Year award.
